Hand Cut Chophouse Nashville is looking for a Bar Manager to join our team!

We're searching for a candidate who can:

  • Lead, train, coach, and support bartenders and other bar staff to ensure consistent, high-quality guest service.
  • Oversee daily bar operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff assignments, cleanliness, organization, and service standards.
  • Prepare and serve craft cocktails, beer, wine, and special beverage requests while maintaining consistency and presentation standards.
  • Manage guest orders at the bar and ensure service tickets from servers and other team members are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering and receiving products, and minimize waste through proper portioning and inventory controls.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar that complies with health, safety, and sanitation requirements.
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly, taking appropriate action to ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Support scheduling, shift coverage, team communication, and overall staff performance as needed.
  • Collaborate with management and other departments to maintain smooth operations and meet guest needs.
  • Previous bartending experience required; bar management or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and guest service skills.
  • Guest-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and responsible alcohol service.
  • Experience with inventory management, ordering, cost control, and minimizing waste.
  • Ability to work efficiently and remain professional in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to handle guest concerns and resolve issues professionally.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Current food handler and alcohol service certifications as required by state and local regulations.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
