Bells & Whistles Retail Clerk

General Summary of Duties:

The Retail Sales Associates are responsible for efficiently re-merchandising stock, maintaining visual displays, and remaining up-to-date with new and existing merchandise while creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Examples of Duties (includes but is not limited to the following): 

• Provide suggestions, information, and assistance to guests as requested
• Stock shelves, counters, tables and similar display fixtures with merchandise in a fashion that maximizes product visibility and promotes sales
• Maintain knowledge of products in assigned store as well as general product knowledge regarding merchandise for sale in other retail outlets on property
• Work with team to ensure operational standards are achieved including merchandise replenishment, visual merchandising, processing shipments and store cleanliness
• Maintain knowledge of current monthly sales performance and increase sales per hour and units per transaction as required
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English
• Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment
• Previous cash handling and Point of Sale experience preferred
• Must be able to learn product details and perform sales responsibilities for items offered
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff
• Ability to perform basic math skills
• Knowledge, understanding, and compliance of policies and procedures, daily memorandums, chemical labels and other instructions
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED
