Job Summary

The maintenance technician oversees maintenance needs to include the repair and maintenance of production equipment, air conditioning and humidification systems, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems. CNC Maintenance experience a plus.


Essential Functions

  • Program and operate PTH equipment (Printers, Placers, Oven, AOI and AXI)
  • Assist in developing and refining manufacturing process with manufacturing engineers
  • Validate production equipment
  • Participating in manufacturing trials by preparing coupon-level samples
  • Collect data using metrology
  • Supervise automated electrical and mechanical test equipment
  • Roll out process changes to production equipment
  • Responding to advanced maintenance issues
  • Interact daily with Manufacturing Engineers to communicate results and receive tasks
  • Assist with root cause analysis
  • Assist Manufacturing Engineers with ensuring equipment and processes meet production capacity targets and outputs
  • Assist with IT support when necessary.
  • Assisting the product development team on validating New Product Introduction (NPI) from a manufacturing perspective; PCB validation, component verification, validation, etc. 
  • Adherence to the Gibson Cardinal Safety Rules as per the Gibson Playbook for Cardinal Safety Rules and General Safety Rules.
  • Obligation to submit safety observations for identified hazards using the safety observation QR code.
  • Support the comprehensive Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure a safe work environment, maintain compliance with regulations, and improve our safety processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent degree or related work experience
  • Min 5 years of experience with Electronic, Electromechanical, and mechanized systems
