Janitorial Lead Cleaner (Section Lead)

Location: Nashville, TN

Pay Rate: $18.00 / hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Role Overview

We are hiring a Janitorial Lead Cleaner to oversee evening cleaning operations for an assigned section of our facility while working alongside the team. You will perform core cleaning duties and conduct routine quality checks to ensure all tasks meet our standards and project scopes.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect work performed by cleaning teams to ensure all tasks meet required standards and scopes

• Perform hands-on general cleaning, including pulling trash, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning restrooms

• Ensure facility spaces remain sanitized, orderly, and well-maintained each evening

• Coordinate with the supervisor and team members to resolve missed areas or task priority shifts

• Carry out additional cleaning and supervisory support duties as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 1–3 years of janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience

• Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs repetitively throughout the shift

• Leadership Skills: Strong eye for detail, reliable communication, and the ability to review team output effectively

• Dependability: Punctual and consistent performance for an evening schedule

• Screening: Successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
