The Learning Experience – Natick is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Center Director to join our leadership team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early childhood professional who is ready to expand their leadership impact. Working closely with the Center Director, you’ll help develop teachers, support families, maintain licensing compliance, and ensure the center delivers an exceptional educational experience every day.
What You’ll Do
- Â Partner with the Center Director to support daily center operationsÂ
- Â Recruit, interview, onboard, and develop teaching staffÂ
- Â Create staff schedules and maintain appropriate classroom ratiosÂ
- Â Conduct classroom observations and provide coaching and performance feedbackÂ
-  Support teachers in implementing The Learning Experience’s L.E.A.P. CurriculumÂ
- Â Maintain employee records and required licensing documentationÂ
- Â Ensure compliance with Massachusetts EEC regulations, health, and safety requirementsÂ
- Â Build strong relationships with children, families, and teaching teamsÂ
- Â Support family engagement, enrollment growth, and retentionÂ
- Â Conduct center tours and create a welcoming experience for prospective familiesÂ
- Â Help foster a positive culture built around teamwork, accountability, and professional growthÂ
- Â Partner with the Center Director to achieve educational, staffing, and operational goalsÂ
What We’re Looking For
- Â Massachusetts Director I & Director II qualifications requiredÂ
- Â Previous leadership experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool strongly preferredÂ
- Â Professional teaching experience with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool-age childrenÂ
- Â Strong knowledge of Massachusetts EEC regulations and licensing requirementsÂ
- Â Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing early childhood educatorsÂ
-  Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferredÂ
- Â CPR and First Aid certification preferredÂ
- Â Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsÂ
- Â Must meet all applicable Massachusetts EEC requirementsÂ
