V82 Troubleshooting Technician

We are looking for a senior wind technician with strong Vestas V82 troubleshooting experience. This is an immediate-impact field role focused on advanced diagnostics, corrective maintenance support, and helping strengthen platform capability across our crews. Ideal background includes V82/V80/V90 site experience, electrical fault finding, pitch/yaw/generator troubleshooting, strong safety habits, and the ability to support or coach other technicians. If you have hands-on V82 troubleshooting experience and are open to a high-impact role with RCL, we would like to connect directly.

Minimum Experience

• 5+ years wind industry experience
• 3+ years direct V82 experience
• Proven troubleshooting background

Must Demonstrate

• Independent fault diagnosis
• V82 Repower experience 
• Safe and repeatable work execution
• Ability to coach others

Electrical / Controls Troubleshooting

• Fault finding
• PLC and control-system troubleshooting
• Power conversion issues
• Sensor failures
• Communication faults
• Generator fault diagnosis
• Startup and reset support

Mechanical / Corrective Troubleshooting

• Generator replacements and alignment
• Gearbox troubleshooting
• Pitch system troubleshooting
• Pitch motor replacement
• Accumulator replacement
• Blade bearing support
• Yaw drive replacement readiness
