Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: New Bedford MA - New Bedford, MA 02740Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $220,000.00 - $230,000.00 Salary/yearJob Shift: Week DaysThe Physician (MD/DO) provides comprehensive, patient-centered medical care within a team-based model in a Federally Qualified Health Center serving a diverse and often underserved population. The Physician delivers high-quality clinical care across the lifespan or within a defined specialty track, addressing acute, chronic, preventive, behavioral health, and reproductive health needs. In addition, the Physician serves as a clinical leader, supporting care team members, supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) as appropriate, and contributing to quality improvement and clinical program development. This role supports the mission of improving access to care, reducing health disparities, and advancing health equity. QualificationsQualifications: 1. Education & Training a. Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution b. Completion of an accredited residency program (e.g., Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Infectious Disease) 2. Licensure & Certification a. Current Massachusetts medical license (or eligibility) b. Board certified or board eligible in relevant specialty c. DEA registration 3. Additional Certifications (as applicable) a. HIV certification or experience b. Buprenorphine waiver (for OBAT roles) 4.
