Furniture Loading

Smoker Craft, Inc currently has an opening for a Furniture Loader! This position works from our plant in New Paris, IN. 

Furniture Loader’s starting pay is $20.97/hr. and with positive reviews can be increased to $22.97/hr. after 60 days.  

After the first week of work, employees are eligible for an Attendance Bonus averaging an additional $50+/week! 

Shift Schedule is 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday-Thursday with Fridays as needed.  

Responsibilities include:

• Lifting pontoon furniture from carts and loading into pontoons.
• Use of hand-held power tools 
• Produce quality work within the given time frame 
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment. 
• Flexibility in job assignments to move when needed and changing working hours 

Required skills and experience:

• Continuous bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, and kneeling
• Occasional crawling, climbing, reaching above shoulder level, pushing, pulling, twisting
• Continuous lifting up to 30 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• A quality-minded individual who can complete tasks in an orderly and timely manner compliant with an assembly line.
• Decision making skills
• Someone who can contribute to a team working environment to accomplish one common goal. 
• Willing to work overtime and possibly multiple or different tasks daily as needed. 

 Schedule:

-8-hour shift

-Day shift 6 am - 2:30 pm

-Monday to Thursday with Fridays as needed
