Job Description

Location: NYC (Hybrid – at least 3 days onsite/week)

The Credit Trading Application Support team provides production and application support for critical Credit Trading, Pricing, STP, and Risk platforms across both in-house and vendor applications, including ION, JAG, NEXUS, QuartzC, Lynx, Omega, ONCA Risk, Focus, Client Clearing, and E-TRAD.

The team acts as a key bridge between traders, Technology, Developers, Business Analysts, Infrastructure, and vendors, ensuring production stability, minimizing downtime, and supporting the full trade lifecycle across fixed income and credit products.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 production and application support for Credit Trading applications.
• Proactively monitor applications, investigate issues, perform log analysis/log scraping, and resolve or escalate incidents.
• Manage Incident, Problem, and Change Management using ServiceNow (SNOW).
• Support application releases, deployments, testing, and APS e-trading projects using JIRA.
• Support the trade lifecycle across Bills, Notes, Bonds, Corporates, CDS, and Indices.
• Work closely with traders, developers, Business Analysts, infrastructure teams, and vendors to resolve production issues.
• Lead and support server/infrastructure migrations, coordinating stakeholders while minimizing technology risk and reducing costs.
• Support SOD checks and regional handoffs to maintain effective global production coverage.
• Automate testing and operational processes and identify opportunities to improve monitoring, stability, and efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with trading desks through Bloomberg, Microsoft Teams, and Symphony.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of application/production support experience in investment banking or capital markets.
• Strong understanding of fixed-income and credit markets, trading workflows, and the RFQ lifecycle.
• Experience supporting trading, pricing, STP, and Risk applications; ION, JAG, NEXUS, or similar platforms preferred.
• Strong experience with Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Hands-on experience with application monitoring, troubleshooting, log analysis, and log scraping.
• Experience with Linux/Unix, infrastructure, server migration, and automation is highly desirable.
• Experience with ServiceNow and JIRA.
• Understanding of e-trading and post-trade processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work directly with traders and technology teams.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, production-critical environment.
