Our M&A/Corporate Advisory team provides unparalleled capital markets advisory services to our public and private real estate clients. The group uniquely combines strong relationships, capital marketsĀ expertise, and real estate knowledge to provide corporate clients with outstanding advice. The U.S. M&A/Corporate Advisory team is based out of ourĀ New York and San Francisco offices. The team’s primary areas of focus include:Ā 

Ā Ā 

  • Public and private M&AĀ 
  • Entity-level sale and recapitalizationsĀ 
  • Equity and debt capital raisingĀ 
  • Portfolio & asset-level joint venturesĀ 
  • GP stake sales and LP secondary salesĀ 

Ā Ā 

Essential FunctionsĀ 


  • Function as integral part of deal team and effectivelyĀ interface withĀ senior management and clientsĀ 
  • Execute complex financial analyses, including entity and portfolio level valuations, merger, and other relevant financial analysesĀ 
  • Perform comprehensive and in-depth company, real estate, and market analysisĀ 
  • Review public company financial statements and prepare company comparable analysisĀ 
  • Prepare presentations and other materials for clients, including pitch,Ā proposalĀ and marketing collateralĀ 
  • Research andĀ participateĀ in strategic planning to findĀ optimalĀ capital markets solutionsĀ 
  • Lead client meetings, management meetings, due diligence visits, site tours, and other client interactionsĀ

QualificationsĀ

  • 4+ years of experience in investment banking, commercial real estate, or other relevant financial servicesĀ

Experience, Skills and Competencies RequiredĀ 

Ā 

The individual mustĀ demonstrateĀ a combination of academic aptitude, quantitative skills, personal motivation, and distinguished written and oral communication skills. The individual willĀ be requiredĀ to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working effectively both as an individual unit and as part of a multi-functional team.

  • Advanced excel-based financial modeling skills and strong attention to detailĀ 
  • Ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analyses of real estate transactions with advanced underwriting techniques and deep understanding of equity and debt capitalization structuresĀ 
  • Ability to conceptualize real estate investment opportunities within the framework of relevant microeconomic and macroeconomic factorsĀ 
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a highly collaborative team settingĀ 
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently produceĀ high qualityĀ work under tightĀ time framesĀ 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities to completion independently within agreed upon deadlinesĀ 
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skillsĀ 
  • Strong senseĀ of personal accountability and urgency for achieving resultsĀ
