POSITION SUMMARY:
The PCA Coordinator oversees an assigned caseload to ensure the seamless delivery of homecare services and a positive patient experience. This role partners with patients, caregivers, and family members to address concerns, facilitate staffing needs, and promote continuity of care. Responsibilities include maintaining regulatory compliance, managing documentation and reporting requirements, collaborating across departments, and contributing to quality assurance, audit readiness, and operational excellence initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, caregivers, and family members.
  • Coordinate and resolve issues related to caregiver staffing and scheduling based on patient needs and authorized service hours.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements by ensuring accurate documentation, reporting, recordkeeping, and audit preparedness.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support payroll, benefits, and operational processes.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to caregivers and patients.
  • Perform additional coordination and operational duties as assigned to support team workflow and efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma required; some college or business education preferred.
  • Strong telephone, organizational, typing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate schedules, documentation, and records.
  • Basic computer proficiency and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of following simple instructions and applying practical judgement in routine situations.
  • Able to handle standardized tasks with minimal variation.
COMPENSATION:
  • $25-28/hr
  • Medical, Dental and Vision insurance fully paid for by company
