Clinical Director – Authorizations Department

Location: Brooklyn, NY | Full-Time | On-site
Competitive Pay: $95–$125/hour (based on experience)
Organization: Licensed Behavior Analyst Professional Services PLLC

          Are you a clinical leader who understands both ABA and the behind-the-scenes systems that make quality care possible? At LBAPS, we’re growing—and we’re looking for someone who can take ownership of our authorizations department and help shape how services are approved, delivered, and scaled. This is a high-impact leadership role where your expertise will directly support access to care for children and families.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and oversee all authorization workflows from start to finish
  • Review clinical documentation to ensure strong medical necessity and payer compliance
  • Partner with clinical and admin teams to streamline processes and improve turnaround times
  • Maintain high standards for ABA documentation accuracy and integrity
  • Build, refine, and implement department policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with insurance requirements and regulatory standards

What You Bring;

  • BCBA certification or strong background in ABA (highly preferred)
  • Experience with behavioral health authorizations, insurance, or clinical operations
  • Solid understanding of ABA service delivery and payer expectations
  • Strong leadership mindset with excellent communication and organization skills
