At PepsiCo, we believe safety isn’t just a standard—it’s a mindset. We’re looking for a visionary East Europe EHS Senior Manager to lead PepsiCo’s Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) strategy across East Europe and the Balkans.

In this purpose-driven role, you’ll be protecting people, empowering teams, and shaping a safer, more sustainable future across 12 manufacturing sites and over 5,000 employees. You’ll also champion PepsiCo Positive (PEP+) by embedding sustainability and decarbonization principles into site operations—driving impact that goes beyond compliance and into long-term transformation.

Job Location: Bucharest/ Warsaw/ Athens

Responsibilities

Your role

  • Lead regional EHS strategy aligned with global standards and local legislation.
  • Be a strategic partner for senior leaders to shape the future of EHS in the region.
  • Inspire a culture of safety by embedding accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Lead and inspire a team of EHS managers across multiple countries to deliver excellence and embed a proactive safety culture.
  • Drive innovation in safety technologies, environmental systems, and sustainability practices.
  • Influence investment decisions and shape the future of EHS in a dynamic, multi-country landscape.
  • Ensure compliance with PepsiCo’s global standards and local regulations.

Qualifications

Who You Are

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in FMCG, food & beverage, or large-scale manufacturing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate in a matrix and double-hat structure.
  • Demonstrated experience driving culture change, embedding EHS ownership across functions and levels.
  • Passionate about creating safe, sustainable, and high-performing workplaces.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of an Eastern European language (e.g. Polish, Romanian, Ukrainian) is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the region (~40%).
