We are currently accepting applications for a full-time Administrative Coordinator who will manage basic accounting, payroll functions, and special projects aimed at improving hostel processes and procedures.  Both English and Spanish language fluency and literacy are required.

Responsibilities:   Â
    Â
-Â Review, reconcile, and analyze daily end reports; prepare daily bank depositsÂ
-Â Manage cash banks and ensure internal controls are followed to prevent mishandlingÂ
- Assist in managing change banks and reconciling discrepanciesÂ
-Â Work with management to address and rectify any violations issued by government agenciesÂ
-Â Conduct thorough investigations and document guest or staff incidents on the propertyÂ
- Maintain and update guest emails and reviewsÂ
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures, checklists, and training manualsÂ
-Â Oversee the onboarding and offboarding process for all staffÂ
-Â Coordinate and prepare special projects or meetings, including employee recognition programs and eventsÂ
-Â Monitor and report on computer and printer workstations; coordinate with IT for technical supportÂ
-Â Attend and take minutes during various hostel meetingsÂ
-Â Sort and manage incoming mail and parcelsÂ
- Maintain office supplies, track inventory, and place orders as neededÂ
-Â Support hostel management with other back-office tasks and special projectsÂ

Skills/Qualifications:   Â
-Â High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of two years' experience in bookkeeping, administrative, or back-office rolesÂ
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; strong written and verbal communication skillsÂ
-Â Both English and Spanish language fluency and literacy are required.
- Experience in travel or hostelling preferredÂ
-Â Ability to collaborate with hostel teams and Central Office teamsÂ
-Â Experience with Property Management Systems preferredÂ
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required    Â

Physical Requirements:   Â
-Â Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and armsÂ
-Â Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, or crouchÂ
-Â Must be able to lift and move up to 50 poundsÂ
-Â Vision abilities required: close, peripheral, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusÂ
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate Â
