One of the largest providers of outpatient services in New York City is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join their team in the Bronx.

Position Overview

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) monitor vital signs and administer immunizations, and basic treatments.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients, manage the patients' flow and conduct patient intake.
• Assist providers during exams and minor procedures
• Monitor and record vital signs and overall patient health status. 
• Administer medications, immunizations, and basic treatments
• Perform suture removal, specimen collection, and phlebotomy
• Document patient information in EMR and maintaining clean, stocked exam rooms
• Educate patients on medication, procedures, and general health care

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience required in ambulatory setting. Open to New Grads.
• NYS LPN License and Registration
• BLS Certification by American Heart Association
• Bilingual Spanish Preferred but not required.
• NYS LPN License and Registration
• High School Diploma or GED
• LPN Diploma or Certificate
• Social Security Card 
• Government Photo ID
• 2 Professional Reference Letters
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate by American Heart Association
• Proof of updated Titers for: ○ Measles ○ Mumps and Rubella ○ HepB ○ Varicella ○ Flu Vaccination
