As a PS GTM Manager you will be driving exciting opportunities interfacing with customers & internal teams while supporting global corporations.  You will be shepherding a team of consultants to ensure their professional growth as well as the collective success of delivering to our clients. Through this experience you will gain a greater understanding and appreciation for how corporations are being run in today’s markets. 

Within this program we offer extensive training, mentoring, and guidance to start you on the path to a successful career in consulting at Thomson Reuters. You will be trained in best practices, methodologies, and gain the technical and functional skills required to drive and manage a team across enterprise software projects focused on supporting  Global Trade, Compliance and Tax departments.  You will also be exposed to the ONESOURCE platform and all services provided across our Corporates business. 

As a member of the Professional Services team, you will strive to enable and simplify the work of Global Trade, Compliance and Tax professional in Corporations focusing on Indirect Tax and Global Trade. 

Summary of Position 

The GTM Manager will work closely with other PS Managers and his/her team members to ensure we're successfully delivering best practice implementations to our clients while continuing to push the envelope towards growth opportunities.  The GTM Manager will also work closely with Sales to drive Sales Revenue and PS Upsells.  This position is part of the Corporates Professional Services department.  We deliver enterprise Global Trade, Compliance and software that provides critical information and software solutions to companies of all sizes.   

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interact with client Global Trade, Compliance, Tax and Technology professionals in Fortune 500 clients 
  • Lead a team of 10 PS consultants, supporting their professional development
  • Lead business and requirements sessions and formulate into design/solution documentation for high visibility and complex projects
  • Engage with other key teams such as Product Management & Engineering within Thomson Reuters as appropriate to deliver end to end solutions 
  • Ensure team's implementations are running smoothly and tracking towards timely completion
  • Promote positive relationships with our clients and handle any potential escalation issues that arise within the team's projects
  • Perform lead role as applicable on large, complex projects  
  • Support sales teams by partnering as the PS representative in commercial conversations and creating SOWs
  • Drive $1M in Upsells
  • Drive  > $1.5M in Sales Support
  • Drive  > $1.5M in Revenue

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and know how to share information professionally and concisely 
  • Must be able to effectively lead a team and promote engagement
  • Must be able to partner with Sales and drive commercial conversations
  • Ability to work on multiple initiatives concurrently
  • Ability to be a self-starter 
  • Proficient in working with computers and standard business software like Microsoft Office 
  • Creative problem-solving skills & motivated to drive innovation 
  • Ability to work in a diverse work environment 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years relative work experience 
  • Exposure to Global Trade or Supply Chain Businesses, Indirect Tax, Compliance and/or Tax Return processes 
  • Experience with commercial conversations
  • Leadership or mentorship experience and responsibilities
  • Experience with process analysis, design & mapping 
  • Experience Implementing Enterprise Software including Cloud Solutions and third-party applications 
  • 20% travel, as needed, to client sites Offsite Training , Industry events and assist with implementations 
  • Ability to Relocate if needed 

Education Required 

  • Higher Education Degree or Diploma – Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, International Business or Computer Science preferred

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.

For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $100,100 USD - $185,900 USD.

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
