Link’s 10-week paid summer internship program helps students gain valuable experience and develop business skills while learning the basics ofĀ logisticsĀ real estate. We offer internships inĀ a variety ofĀ departments including Capital Markets, Corporate Communications, Development, Financial Planning & Analysis, Investments,Ā Asset Management and more.   

  

Link is looking forĀ actively enrolled juniors, who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in marketing strategy, brokerĀ segmentationĀ and go-to-market planning. The Marketing Summer Intern will support execution of Link's indirect broker marketing strategy — helping map and segment the regional and local broker market, develop broker personas, and build the messaging,Ā program elementsĀ and channel strategyĀ that engage brokers beyond our national partners.Ā 

What You Will Do:

  • Support Link's indirect broker strategy by helping map regional and local brokers against our portfolio marketing product segmentation and customer data.Ā 

  • Help research and develop personas for regional and local broker segments,Ā identifyingĀ what they value and how they differ from national firms.Ā 

  • Support the build-out of a structured, tiered brokerĀ marketingĀ program, including trackingĀ engagement,Ā performanceĀ and incentive elements across segments.Ā 

  • Partner with Digital Marketing, Portfolio Marketing, Creative & Production andĀ Corporate Communications team members to helpĀ tuneĀ messaging, channel strategyĀ and assets for different broker segments,Ā audiencesĀ and industries.Ā 

  • Help organize,Ā reviewĀ and refine marketing presentations, campaignĀ materialsĀ and creative assets for internal and external audiences.Ā 

  • Research the regional and local broker landscape, including firms,Ā specialtiesĀ and market nuances, to helpĀ identifyĀ opportunities for stronger engagement.Ā

Qualifications:Ā 

  • Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university, ideally pursuing aĀ bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications,Ā BusinessĀ or a related field.Ā 

  • Strong written,Ā verbalĀ and presentation communication skills.Ā 

  • Foundational understanding of marketing channels, marketingĀ principlesĀ and audience segmentation.Ā 

  • InterestĀ in marketing strategy, marketĀ researchĀ and audience segmentation, with an appreciation for creative execution and storytelling.Ā 

  • Conscientious self-starter with strong organizational skills, project managementĀ skillsĀ and attention to detail.Ā 

  • Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Ā 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.Ā 

  • Personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility,Ā adaptabilityĀ and willingness to learn.Ā 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Word,Ā ExcelĀ and PowerPoint.Ā 

  • PreviousĀ internship,Ā courseworkĀ or project experience related to marketing, digital media, socialĀ mediaĀ or creative content is preferred.Ā 

$30/hour represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
