Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized Operations Associate to play a critical role in supporting our leadership team, overseeing people operations, and driving administrative excellence across the business. This is a cross-functional position where you’ll directly impact office culture, employee experience, and operational effectiveness in our fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee onboarding for all new hires, ensuring equipment, workspace, benefits, and equity (Carta) setup; educate employees on equity and benefits

  • Own preparation and logistics of company all-hands meetings, including agenda, decks, and coordination

  • Lead office administration, including facilities, vendor relationships, supplies, office events, and snacks

  • Coordinate and improve the end-to-end performance review process, including system administration and guiding managers on review plans and KPI development

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits, fielding questions, educating employees, assessing gaps, and leading benefits benchmarking and planning

  • Plan and execute logistics for company offsites, summer events, and office moves

  • Maintain and update the employee handbook and company policies for compliance and clarity

  • Handle competitive benchmarking for compensation and benefits on an ongoing basis

  • Administer key HR and operational software platforms (Bonusly, 15Five, Rippling, etc.), manage access and subscriptions across tools (Slack, Microsoft, Box, Docusign, Teams, etc.)

  • Oversee PTO policy management, holiday calendar, titles, and org chart updates

  • Collaborate with leadership on expense policies, ramp card management, and process improvements

  • Coordinate IT needs (in partnership with IT lead), ensure smooth tech onboarding and troubleshoot as needed

  • Support recruiting/talent teams and assist in future scaling of recruiting operations

  • Facilitate FSA/Medical benefits administration and support employees with access issues

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in people operations, office management, or similar administrative/operations roles in a fast-paced environment

  • Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Demonstrated experience improving workflows, policies, and systems

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

  • Facility with common productivity and HR tools (G Suite, Slack, Bonusly, 15five, Rippling, etc.)

  • Collaborative team player thriving in a high-velocity, startup environment
