This role translates business and technical requirements into practical solution designs, establishes cloud architecture standards, and helps ensure that new and existing technologies integrate effectively across the enterprise. The successful candidate will combine strong cloud architecture expertise with a practical understanding of legacy systems, enterprise applications, data platforms, integration, security, and operational requirements. Responsibilities Cloud Architecture and Enablement Develop cloud solution architectures aligned with the company's business strategy, technology roadmap, security requirements, and financial objectives. Design secure and scalable cloud, hybrid-cloud, and on-premises solutions. Establish reusable cloud architecture patterns, reference designs, standards, and implementation guardrails. Evaluate workloads and recommend appropriate migration approaches, including rehosting, replatforming, refactoring, replacing, retaining, or retiring applications. Support cloud landing zones, network architecture, identity and access management, monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and governance capabilities. Promote the effective use of cloud-native services, automation, infrastructure as code, containers, APIs, and managed services where appropriate. Solution Design and Integration Translate business, application, data, infrastructure, and security requirements into comprehensive solution designs. Develop architecture diagrams, data flows, integration patterns, interface specifications, deployment models, and implementation roadmaps. Ensure cloud solutions integrate effectively with ERP, CPQ, CRM, manufacturing, financial, data, analytics, and other enterprise platforms. Define integration approaches using APIs, middleware, event-driven architecture, batch processing, and other appropriate technologies. Identify architectural dependencies, technical constraints, implementation risks, and required remediation activities. Ensure solutions are supportable, maintainable, resilient, and appropriately documented. Data and Analytics Enablement Partner with data and analytics teams to design cloud-based data platforms, data pipelines, data lakes, lakehouses, warehouses, and business intelligence environments. Support the secure movement of data between on-premises applications and cloud platforms. Help define architecture for data ingestion, transformation, storage, semantic models, reporting, advanced analytics, and AI use cases. Ensure data solutions address security, lineage, data quality, retention, scalability, and governance requirements. Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex cross-platform issues. Participate in vendor selection, technical due diligence, requests for proposal, statements of work, and solution reviews. Validate vendor recommendations and ensure proposed designs align with enterprise standards and business requirements.
