As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $33.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, entrances, perimeters, parking areas, and surrounding grounds to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and report suspicious persons, vehicles, packages, or activities according to site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate emergency responders and site representatives as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required records regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a law enforcement officer license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
