Job Description

Supervises and coordinates the activities and staff of storeroom operations including verifying, receiving, storing, issuing and distributing materials, equipment, and supplies throughout the facility.

Job Responsibility

  • Promotes Supply Chain department goals by selecting, motivating, and training capable team members.
  • Leads the activities of assigned Supply Chain team members by communicating and providing guidance toward achieving department objectives.
  • Supervises, hires, trains, disciplines, and evaluates the performance of staff.
  • Ensures performance appraisals are completed in a timely manner.
  • Prioritizes, schedules, assigns, and monitors work to optimize operational service.
  • Analyzes, recommends, implements, and monitors approved work-flow changes.
  • Ensures related records are maintained including the Material Management Information System (MMIS).
  • Coordinates physical inventories and ensures par levels are maintained.
  • Participates in developing and delivering training related to operations.
