SUMMARY: The Assembler is responsible for assembling mechanical and/or electrical components and finished products according to work instructions, engineering drawings, and quality standards. This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring products are built accurately, efficiently, and safely while meeting production schedules and customer requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Assemble components and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, and equipment according to specifications and work instructions.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, bills of materials, and assembly drawings.
  • Inspect parts and completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of assembled products as required.
  • Report defects, material shortages, or process issues to supervision.
  • Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
  • Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and quality requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with safety and 6S standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to work with small components and tools.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, or gauges preferred.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and production reporting.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 

  • High school diploma or GED required.
