Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced On Site Property Manager to join our team to join our growing property management company. The Property Manager is responsible for all aspects of managing the apartment community, from introducing properties to prospective tenants to periodic inspection of actively leased properties. As a successful Property Manager, your goal is to achieve and maintain high occupancy rates and maximize profitability for clients. This fast-paced role is responsible for maintaining trust and communication with owner, residents, vendors, and maintenance staff. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a residential community, build meaningful relationships with residents, and make a real impact on the day-to-day operations of the property. Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily property operations, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained community
  • Manage resident relations including lease signings, renewals, and addressing tenant concerns
  • Coordinate and supervise maintenance requests, work orders, and vendor services
  • Conduct regular property inspections and enforce community policies and lease compliance
  • Handle rent collection, delinquency follow-up, and financial reporting
  • Market available units, conduct property tours, and manage the leasing process
  • Maintain accurate resident records, files, and property management software
  • Maintain positive relationships with current tenants, addressing their concerns and resolving any issues promptly
  • Attend weekly staff meetings to identify any property needs/concerns and seek solutions
  • Provide administrative support and other duties as assigned
  • Follow all Equal Housing Opportunity guidelines, local laws, and company policies
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in property management, leasing, or residential real estate
  • Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant laws and fair housing regulations
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, or similar)
  • Ability to work on-site or be readily available for property needs
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications (CAM, NALP) a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with MS Office products
  • Strong time management and level of initiative
