ASRC Federal Cyber is seeking a Shipping Clerk/Material Coordinator  to support NSWC DD Dam Neck Activity. The successful candidates will manage incoming and outgoing classified materials and support the command information security program. Must have an active DOD Secret Clearance and be eligible to obtain TS/SCI.

Compensation:

$30.09 an hour

$5.09 an hour Health and Welfare bonus

Responsible for: 

  • Packaging outgoing correspondence in accordance with DoN policies
  • Tracking incoming/outgoing materials and documenting in local database
  • Inventory of accountable materials
  • Works to support the command information security program

Facilitates destruction of classified materials

Requirements:

  • Must have an active DOD Secret Clearance and be eligible to obtain TS/SCI. Candidates without a minimum of a Secret clearance will not be considered. 
  • A minimum of (2) two years of experience in the area of classified control. Experience must include knowledge of the transmission, receipt, tracking, and destruction of unclassified and classified material per DOD/DON policies 

  • Routine record keeping functions with attention to detail

  • Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated skills with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), basic correspondence, answering and screening incoming telephone calls, and the operation of basic office equipment. 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with SIMS
  • DoW Classified Markings Course
  • DoW General Security Course 
  • DoW Transmission and Transportation of Classified Information
