As we grow, we value people ready to grow a career that makes an impact far beyond just our daily workplace.   A Day in the Life: PART TIME Parts Specialist / Service Writer Greet customers, collaborate on parts needs in person, by phone, and online by asking questions to identify a solution, process the order, complete the sale Place machine down orders and stock orders as requested Process parts requests for internal and external customers Assists in completing customer service authorizations, identifying all repairs through communication with customer and technicians, and provide cost estimates/quotes to customers Complete customer service work authorizations by coordinating with service technicians, foreman, manager and parts department Need to Succeed:  Enjoy being customer-facing, positive attitude, willingness to learn, good communication and excellent attendance Attention to detail, problem solving skills, customer service skills and recent computer use with experience in dealership software and parts/inventory systems a plus Ability to handle high volume of customer inquiries with timely follow up and not afraid to answer the phone Life at James River EquipmentUpon joining James River Equipment, you will be welcomed into a supportive, collaborative, and diverse team that takes pride in a job well done and is appreciated for the work they do!
