Respiratory Therapist
Bristol Glen, a UMC community | Newton, NJ 

$35/hour | Per Diem | Flexible Scheduling

Bristol Glen, a Continuing Care Retirement Community in Newton, NJ, is hiring a per diem Respiratory Therapist to care for residents across our full continuum of care, from independent living to skilled nursing.

Schedule
Per diem: weekday and weekend shifts as needed.

What You'll Do:  

  • Deliver respiratory treatments, including oxygen therapy, CPAP/BiPAP, and airway support, to residents across the community
  • Respond to respiratory emergencies with CPR and appropriate life support measures
  • Teach residents, families, and team members how to manage respiratory equipment and conditions
  • Monitor resident status and document care accurately and on time
  • Coordinate with physicians, nursing staff, and families on individualized care plans
  • Follow New Jersey's professional, ethical, and legal standards for respiratory care

What You'll Need:  

  • Associate's degree in respiratory therapy from an accredited program
  • Active New Jersey Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
  • Current RRT or CRT credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • 2+ years of experience in long-term care or a hospital setting
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
