An established and growing heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Superintendent to oversee field operations and construction activities on local projects throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated superintendent experience, strong leadership and planning skills, and the ability to effectively manage field crews and subcontractors while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, schedule, and productivity.

This position offers the opportunity to work on local projects within approximately 100 miles of Newtown, PA, allowing employees to remain close to home while taking on a high level of responsibility in the field.

Compensation
$120,000.00 – $180,000.00 annually (commensurate with experience). Benefits available include:

Schedule
Day Shift, Monday – Friday.
Occasional overtime and schedule flexibility may be required to meet project demands.
Projects are primarily located within approximately 1–2 hours of the office, allowing for local travel with minimal overnight work.

Requirements
- 5+ years of heavy civil construction experience with demonstrated responsibility as a Superintendent.
- OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour Certification required.
- Proven ability to lead multiple field crews, supervisors, and subcontractors across active construction operations.
- Strong understanding of construction planning, project specifications, productivity, cost tracking, scheduling, and manpower management.
- Thorough knowledge of OSHA requirements, industry best practices, construction equipment, and QA/QC processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Microsoft Office proficiency and valid Driver's License; ability to work on local projects within approximately 100 miles of Newtown, PA.

- Heavy civil, highway, bridge, industrial, or other complex construction projects.
- Construction planning, work sequencing, and schedule management.
- Budget management, job cost tracking, productivity monitoring, and project forecasting.
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Material tracking, project submittals, document control, and QA/QC implementation.
- Strong safety leadership and ability to proactively manage field conditions and construction challenges.
