Bucks County Community College is seeking a skilled ERP Administrator to join our IT team. The ERP Administrator is responsible for the overall administration and operational support of the institution's primary ERP platforms, Ellucian Colleague and Workday, ensuring these systems effectively support finance, human resources, student services, advancement, and other core business functions. This position maintains system stability and data integrity, manages security roles and user permissions, oversees software updates and integrations, and provides advanced technical and functional support to end users. The ERP Administrator works closely with stakeholders to optimize business processes, develop reporting solutions, implement new functionality, and maximize the value of the institution's ERP investments through continuous improvement and strategic system management.
Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to)
Serve as the primary administrator for the institution's Ellucian Colleague and Workday ERP platforms, ensuring reliable system performance, availability, and security.
Provide advanced technical and functional support to faculty, staff, and administrators, troubleshooting and resolving complex ERP-related issues.
Manage day-to-day ERP operations, including system configuration, user account administration, security roles, and workflow management.
Coordinator, test, and implement system upgrades, patches, enhancements, and new releases in collaboration with vendors, IT teams and business partners.
Manage ERP security by administering user access, permissions, and role-based controls in accordance with institutional policies, cybersecurity standards, and applicable regulatory requirements, including the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
Manage integrations between ERP systems and other institutional applications, ensuring reliable data exchange and interoperability.
Partner with business stakeholders to analyze operational needs and identify opportunities to improve processes through ERP functionality.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
3-7 years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise application management.
Demonstrated experience administering and support enterprise ERP platforms, such as Ellucian Colleague and Workday Student.
Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly ensuring accurate and timely completion, while exhibiting strong attention to detail and organization.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in collaborative environments, engaging with faculty, staff, IT teams and external stakeholders.
Ability to think critically to effectively solve and communicate problems in a fast-paced environment where the demands for work are varied and unpredictable in scope and volume.
Ability to coordinate assigned work and communicate effectively with faculty and staff to support campus and departmental operations.
Ability to maintain a high level of diplomacy and tact, ensuring confidentiality and discretion with sensitive and confidential information.
Preferred Experience
Experience in a K-12, higher education, or nonprofit environment.
Proven expertise in the configuration, administration, and support of Ellucian Colleague.
Proven expertise in the configuration, administration, and support of Workday HR & Finance.
Salary Range $70,000 - $80,000 (Commensurate with background and experience)
