Shipping Team Leader 

Position Summary 

Tailor Made Compounding (TMC) is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Team Leader to support our Shipping operations. This role provides hands-on leadership and coordination to ensure the timely, accurate, and compliant shipment of compounded medications. 

The Shipping Team Leader will help manage daily workflow, support team members, identify and resolve issues, and serve as a resource for the Shipping team under the direction of the Shipping Manager. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead and support the Shipping team to ensure timely and accurate processing of outbound orders. 

• Monitor order volume and workflow, prioritize work, and help resolve bottlenecks or issues that may impact turnaround times. 

• Ensure shipping activities are completed in accordance with applicable SOPs, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and Company policies. 

• Provide real-time guidance and support to team members and reinforce safety, quality, and compliance expectations. 

• Communicate order status, exceptions, operational issues, and team performance to the Shipping Manager and other appropriate stakeholders. 

• Coordinate with Order Reconciliation and other departments to help ensure orders move efficiently through the process. 

• Ensure effective communication and handoffs between teams and shifts to maintain operational continuity. 

• Perform hands-on shipping responsibilities, including packaging, labeling, carrier processing, and other shipping functions as needed. 

• Assist with training and onboarding new team members and reinforce established procedures and expectations. 

• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and audit-ready work environment. 

• Identify and escalate operational, quality, safety, or personnel concerns in a timely manner. 

• Help drive accountability, productivity, and continuous improvement within the department. 

• Contribute to a positive and productive team environment that reflects TMC's values and culture.
