Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Epoxy/Resinous Field Superintendent to provide onsite leadership for commercial flooring projects involving epoxy, resinous coatings, polished concrete, and sealed concrete systems. This position is responsible for directing field crews, coordinating daily jobsite activities, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining project schedules, and promoting a safe and productive work environment.
The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on installation experience and a strong understanding of commercial flooring systems from all major manufacturers. This role requires regular travel to project sites to oversee project execution from mobilization through completion.

Job Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise field crews on commercial flooring projects.
- Coordinate project mobilization, including equipment, materials, manpower, and site logistics.
- Ensure all work is performed according to project specifications, manufacturer requirements, and company quality standards.
- Conduct daily jobsite planning meetings and oversee crew assignments and productivity.
- Monitor project progress and communicate daily updates to Project Managers and Operations leadership.
- Verify proper surface preparation, installation procedures, environmental conditions, and curing requirements.
- Manage material deliveries, inventory, equipment usage, and jobsite organization.
- Perform routine quality control inspections and maintain project documentation, photos, and reports.
- Identify and resolve field-related issues, schedule conflicts, and installation challenges.
- Attend customer meetings, pre-construction meetings, and jobsite coordination meetings as needed.
- Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies while maintaining a strong safety culture.
- Train and mentor installers, foremen, and labor personnel on best practices and installation standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in commercial flooring installation and supervision.
- Extensive knowledge of:
- Epoxy flooring systems
- Resinous coatings
- Urethane cement systems
- Polyaspartic and MMA systems
- Moisture mitigation systems
- Polished concrete
- Sealed concrete systems
- Concrete repair and joint filling
- Surface preparation, grinding, and shot blasting
- Experience working with flooring systems from major manufacturers and understanding their installation requirements.
- Proven ability to supervise crews and manage multiple jobsite activities simultaneously.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and project schedules.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and basic Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- Forklift, aerial lift, or other equipment certifications.
- ICRI, ACI, AMPP, or other industry-related certifications.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Travel Requirements
- Frequent travel to project sites throughout the region.
- Overnight travel may be required based on project location and duration.
- Expected travel of approximately 50-75%.
