Job DetailsJob Location: PMC-Hampton Roads AC Kroc Community Center - NORFOLK, VA 23502Salary Range: $13.00 - $13.50 HourlyJob Category: RecreationSchedule/Hours: Part-time, flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. This position is responsible for: The Lifeguard ensures safe aquatic operations by observing swimmers, protecting life, preventing accidents, and enforcing facility regulations under the direction of the Lead Lifeguard. Key Responsibilities: Observe swimmers and respond quickly to emergencies. Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe, clean pool environment. Report equipment defects, facility issues, and safety concerns. Maintain professional attitude and attend required staff meetings. Perform other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: • Must have the ability to swim with proficiency and endurance. • Ability to tread water while holding a brick for 5 minutes. • Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. • Work involves exposure to pool chemicals, temperature changes, noise, and humidity. Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
