Required Education: Doctorate Degree, AND:

  • 36 months medical experience (Residency qualifies).

Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information.
  • Highly organized and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to build rapport with students, faculty, and staff.

Certifications:

  • Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Oklahoma - Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy
  • Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) License
  • Oklahoma State Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control (OBNDD) License
  • Board Certification in an applicable specialty
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - BLS or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - ACLS

Advertised Physical Requirements:

  • Physical: 
    • Standing for prolonged periods. 
    • Speaking and listening. 
    • Manual dexterity. 
    • Walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • Environmental: 
    • Clinic Environment

Departmental Preferences:

  • Prefer experience with IUD and Nexplanon insertion and removal. 
     
  • Prefer experience with colposcopy.
