Job Description

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team in Norman, OK. In this role, you will oversee daily production operations, lead a team of production associates, and ensure that all manufacturing processes meet our quality standards and safety requirements. The ideal candidate will be a decisive leader with strong organizational skills and a commitment to operational excellence.

  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities, ensuring schedules are met and production targets are achieved
  • Lead, train, and mentor production team members, providing performance feedback and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Monitor production processes and equipment performance, identifying and resolving operational issues promptly
  • Implement and enforce workplace safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards to maintain a safe working environment
  • Analyze production data and key performance metrics to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
  • Manage inventory levels, material flow, and resource allocation to optimize production efficiency
  • Conduct quality inspections and ensure products meet established specifications and customer requirements
  • Communicate effectively with management, maintenance, and other departments to coordinate operations
  • Prepare production reports and documentation, maintaining accurate records of output, downtime, and incidents
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support the implementation of lean manufacturing practices

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • AssociatesĀ degree or 10+ years of experience working in manufacturing environments
  • 3+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Experience in managing production teams
  • Working knowledge in production planning, scheduling, and inventory management
  • Proficiency in analyzing production metrics and performance data
  • Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and OSHA compliance requirements
  • Experience with quality management systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related fieldĀ 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Experienced in coil assembly or fabrication in a manufacturing environmentĀ 
  • Background in training and developing production staff
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
