Company Description

Carolina Physical Therapy is hiring a Pelvic Health Physical Therapist to join our energetic outpatient clinic in North Charleston. If you’re passionate about pelvic health and enjoy a collaborative, patient-centered environment, we’d love to meet you!

What You’ll Do:

  • Evaluate and treat pelvic floor dysfunction for men and women, incontinence, bowel dysfunction, pre/post-natal issues, and related conditions
  • Design customized treatment plans using manual therapy, exercise, and education
  • Collaborate with referring providers and clinic team
  • Educate and empower patients on their wellness journey

Job Description

Outpatient PT Duties

  • Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
  • Review the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required
  • Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
  • Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
  • Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
  • Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals
  • Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
  • Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies
  • Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports

Qualifications

  • Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current state South Carolina license
  • CPR certification
  • Exercise, sports rehab, and manual-based skills
  • Outgoing and energetic personality
  • Responsible individual with a solid work ethic
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • New or recent graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply!
