Overview

Are you a skilled engineering professional with expertise in Construction Materials Testing (CMT) and laboratory services? We are seeking a CMT Department Manager to provide technical leadership, ensure quality compliance, and oversee field and lab operations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee CMT field and lab testing services, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct site visits, audit field reports, and ensure calibration schedules are met.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate field & lab personnel.
  • Assist with project scope development and proposal preparation.
  • Maintain laboratory accreditations and oversee inspections.
  • Represent the company in technical, marketing, and industry groups.

Qualifications

  • Education: B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years in CMT, lab testing, and special inspections (10 years preferred).
  • Certifications: Ability to obtain CTTP and ICC Special Inspector certifications.
  • Skills: Strong project management, inspection, communication, and leadership abilities.
  • Other: Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured.
