Scope of Role 

Red's All Natural is looking for a Maintenance Planner/Analyst to join our team at our North Sioux City, SD facility, a 300-person food manufacturing plant. This role is primarily responsible for planning and analyzing maintenance work for a team of maintenance technicians, with additional responsibility for supporting raw and packaging material inventory accuracy. This is a great fit for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and energized by keeping equipment reliability and planning tight in a fast-paced food production environment. 

Requirements

Principal Accountabilities 

Maintenance Planning & Analysis 

• End to end creation and management of the maintenance workflow process. 

• Develop, schedule, and prioritize preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance work orders for the plant's production and facility equipment. 

• Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager and maintenance team to align work order scheduling with production plans and downtime windows. 

• Maintain the CMMS with accurate equipment records, work history, and PM schedules. 

• Forecast parts and materials needed for upcoming maintenance work to ensure availability without overstocking. 

• Track maintenance KPIs (PM compliance, work order backlog, downtime, MTTR/MTBF) and report trends to plant leadership. 

• Support root cause analysis on recurring equipment failures and help translate findings into planning adjustments. 

• Assist in coordinating maintenance activities with outside contractors and vendors as needed. 

• Support inventory accuracy for spare parts including cycle counts and discrepancy resolution as needed.

• Partner with Production Planning and Purchasing to help ensure MRO and production materials are available when needed. 


 Key Functional Skills/Knowledge Required: 

• 2+ years of experience in maintenance planning or a related manufacturing role — food manufacturing strongly preferred. 

• Experience with ERP/CMMS systems (NetSuite experience a plus). 

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. 

• Comfortable reading and interpreting data to support decision-making (spreadsheets, basic reporting/query tools). 

• Clear communicator able to work effectively with maintenance technicians, production staff, and leadership. 

• Ability to work on the plant floor and in an office/computer-based setting as needed.
