Job Description
The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Research Lab Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.
Interns will gain hands-on experience in Medical Education and the Independent Medical Education (IME) grant funding process. The intern will support activities related to assessing educational needs, conducting literature reviews, analyzing educational outcomes, and identifying healthcare professional learning gaps. Through participation in the review and evaluation of educational initiatives, the intern will learn how data and evidence are used to inform educational strategy.
Key assignments will include conducting literature searches, summarizing scientific and clinical evidence, reviewing outcomes reports from funded educational programs, supporting educational gap analyses, and assisting with budget tracking and financial review processes related to grant support. The intern will also gain exposure to the operational and compliance aspects of medical education grants and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
Potential deliverables include:
A comprehensive literature review and evidence summary for a selected therapeutic or educational topic.
An educational needs assessment and gap analysis presentation.
An outcomes evaluation report summarizing findings from supported educational programs and recommendations for future educational strategies.
A summary of grant budget and financial management processes, including key learnings and observations.
A final internship presentation highlighting project outcomes, insights, and recommendations to the team.
This internship with the IME Grant Review Team and Grant Ops, will provide meaningful exposure to medical education strategy, outcomes measurement, grant management, and healthcare professional learning while enabling the intern to make tangible contributions to ongoing business objectives.
Required Education
Currently pursuing a Master's, PharmD, PhD, MD, MPH, PA, or other health sciences degree
Minimum junior/senior undergraduate standing in life sciences, public health, healthcare administration, education, or related discipline
Preferred Education
Graduate-level training in either: Public Health (MPH), Pharmacy (PharmD), Health Outcomes Research, Medical/Health Education or Healthcare Quality Improvement
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with healthcare professional education
Understanding of healthcare quality improvement initiatives
Experience conducting literature reviews and gap analyses
Ability to identify educational needs and practice gaps
Experience with outcomes measurement and data interpretation
Interest in adult learning principles and instructional design
Basic understanding of evidence-based medicine

Salary range:
The salary range for this role is $39,908 - $111,111 ​USD
