Job Description

The Future Talent Program features internships that last 10-12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Research Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.

As a video marketing intern for the company Manuals, you will work alongside our digital marketing team in producing engaging video content that supports our mission to educate and inform diverse audiences about health topics on the company Manuals websites. You will assist in the strategy, creation, editing, and distribution of digital materials that enhance our online presence and user engagement. The main project you will be focused on is helping us to work through a video modernization project aimed at replacing outdated or licensed videos with owned, up-to-date content aligned with the Manuals brand.

The Video Marketing Intern will report to Keith Guse, Director of Marketing Channels and Communications for the Manuals and work in concert with other mentors and subject matter experts throughout the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the marketing and medical content teams to develop video content aligned with Manuals’ brand and educational goals.
  • Assist in editing and producing short-form and long-form videos for various platforms (website, social media).
  • Optimize video content for SEO and user engagement metrics
  • Support the management of video assets and maintain organized digital libraries.
  • Monitor video performance analytics and suggest improvements based on data insights.
  • Stay updated on video marketing trends and tools to recommend innovative approaches.
  • Support marketing team at live events (tradeshows) as needed.
  • Assist with other marketing and social media projects as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be currently pursuing a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Film/Video Production, Digital Media, Public Health or other related field.
  • Must have prior experience creating multimedia for social media and/or websites
  • Must be available for full-time employment for 10-12 weeks beginning in May or June of 2027
