ServiceNet is looking for a dedicated, experienced professional to lead a team of family support case managers in our Intensive Flexible Family Support Program.


Job Title: Program Manager
Location:Regional Western Massachusetts Program
Salary:$50,000 Annually
Schedule: 
  • Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm, with flexibility required in schedule to meet program needs, including evenings and occasional weekends. 
  • Program operates between 8am-6pm in a hybrid model with frequent in-person meetings. 
  • Must be able to make late afternoon family visits and travel throughout Hampden, Hampshire, Franklin, Berkshire Counties and the North Quabbin area. 
 
The Intensive Flexible Family Support (IFFS) Program provides support to families with children/young adults who are diagnosed with an intellectual or developmental disability (including autism) who are experiencing significant challenges. Services occur in the family’s home and community.  This is a goal-oriented and time-limited service, providing focused and intensive support to respond to identified challenges and areas of need, and to build family capacity to support their child at home and reduce the risk of a residential placement. The IFFS program is funded by the Massachusetts Department of Development Services (DDS).
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Get to know, support and mentor your team with integrity, dedication and loyalty.
  • Get to know program's families and children by visiting, regular contact and supporting as needed. 
  • Oversee development and implementation of family support plans.
  • Enforce program regulations, policies and contract adherence.
  • Complete new case intakes, enrollments and closings.
  • Participate in budget development, line-item expense monitoring and projections.
  • Handle emergency situations quickly, thoroughly and effectively.
  • Recruit and credential contract service providers.
  • Meet regularly with staff and supervisor and periodically with peer managers, division leadership and DDS Staff.
  • Participate in agency leadership and operations training.
  • Hire and train Case Managers and Support Staff when needed.
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related major preferred.
  • At least 5 years of full-time case work in Human Services agencies. 
  • At least 3 years of full-time supervisory experience in Human Services agencies. 
  •  At least 2 years of full-time work with families with children with autism and co-occurring physical, behavioral or mental health challenges. 
  • Experience working with families who face challenges such as substance use disorder, housing instability, low income, etc. 
  •  Have competency assessing individual and family needs using a variety of planning and problem-solving approaches.  
  • Knowledgeable about clinical and non-clinical interventions and resources for autism. 
  •  Knowledgeable about resources available in region that are relevant to case families. 
  •  Knowledgeable about trauma informed service delivery.
  •  Have and maintain a valid driver’s license.  
  •  Acceptable Motor Vehicle and Driving Record.
  • CPR & 1st Aid Certification.
