Our internships span a variety of business areas and are open to rising seniors in undergraduate programs. Designed to support both personal and professional growth, the 10-week summer program runs from early June through mid-August in one of our four corporate offices in the Chicagoland area.
Job Description
A Product Management Intern at Medline will work closely with the Product Division team members and will be exposed to all areas of the business, including product development, marketing, global sourcing, sales, negotiation, quality assurance, operations, and financial strategies.Â
Possible projects could include:Â
Development and launch of new product lines and/or product improvementsÂ
Assisting in the development and execution of sales and marketing strategiesÂ
Collaborating with marketing to develop promotional pieces and design packagingÂ
Researching the market and performing analyses to determine new opportunities to grow the businessÂ
Crafting and delivering presentations to our sales force and customersÂ
Negotiating with vendors to ensure business goals are met while maintaining strong business relationshipsÂ
Working with Inventory Management to ensure proper stock levels and service level goals are metÂ
Qualifications:Â
Junior standing requiredÂ
3.0 minimum GPA preferredÂ
Previous internship experience in product management/development, marketing, and/or business preferredÂ
Active interest in the Healthcare industry preferredÂ
Excellent organizational, planning, communication and follow-up skills requiredÂ
Excellent presentation skills for large and small groupsÂ
Must have strategic, analytical and problem-solving skillsÂ
Must have a bias toward action and be results orientedÂ
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookÂ
Unrestricted permanent US work authorizationÂ

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$23.25 - $33.75 HourlyThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
