Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Mechanical Assemblers for projects located in the Denver, CO area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $20-28/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā 

  • Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies used in electrical power distribution equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, technical drawings, and layout instructions
  • Work with materials including:
    • Sheet metal
    • Structural steel
    • Cable tray
    • Mechanical framing
    • Electrical equipment enclosures
  • Measure, align, fit, and fasten components accurately
  • Drill and tap electrical equipment and structural components
  • Support assembly of equipment including:
    • Low- and medium-voltage MCCs
    • Switchgear
    • UPS systems
    • Power distribution assemblies
  • Custom modular equipment
  • Use hand tools, power tools, drills, taps, grinders, and measuring equipment
  • Perform layout and fitting based on drawings and templates
  • Inspect completed parts and assemblies for fit, quality, and defects
  • Repair or replace defective components when necessary
  • Assist with prototype builds and custom fabrication projects
  • Support process improvements and new assembly methods
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Requirements

  • Experience with forklifts, overhead cranes, or similar lifting equipment is preferredĀ
