Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Urgent Care & Primary Care
About the Role
ExperCARE is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing team. This position provides clinical support in both our urgent care and primary care settings, delivering high-quality care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Administer medications, injections, immunizations, and treatments as ordered
- Perform specimen collection, phlebotomy, EKGs, point-of-care testing, and other clinical procedures within scope of practice
- Assist with wound care, splinting, suture removal, and other minor procedures
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
- Monitor patient flow to promote efficient clinic operations
- Ensure compliance with infection control, OSHA, HIPAA, and safety standards
- Maintain medical supplies and assist with inventory management
- Support both urgent care and primary care workflows based on daily clinic needs
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and team members
- Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Previous experience in urgent care, family practice, emergency medicine, or primary care preferred
- Experience with phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, and point-of-care testing preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care

- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
