Here's how you can help -- we are currently looking for a Coordinator to join our Public Relationsteam, rise to the challenge of empowering service, and fill a vital role in our Marketing Division. As a PR and Marketing Coordinator, you'll play a lead role in supporting key programs and processes within the marketing team. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented, process-based team player with a proven track record of success in managing projects, timelines, and financials.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the operational lead for the Marketing Grant Program throughout the grant lifecycle, including intake and processing, processing and payment coordination, post-report review and tracking, and providing applicants and marketing team members with timely follow-up and status updates.Â
- Provide communications support and premier level of customer service to Lions members, journalists and members of the public with diplomacy and integrity.Â
- Support our international convention and sponsorships plenary main-stage events at our international convention by managing contracts, travel, payments and other logistic logistics associated with speakers and vendors.
- Process, track payments and provide payment support for 32 editions of LION Magazine to ensure timely payments to each edition and accurate reporting for quarterly and annual budgets.Â
- Support the marketing team by setting up coordinating calls, managing translations needs and providing presentation development webinar assistance for board of directors meetings.Â
- Provide frontline communication support for the PR team by monitoring the PR inbox and keeping projects updated in Wrike, an online project management platform.Â
- Assist marketing team with operational needs such as contracts, invoices, divisional finance support and additional project management support.
- Provide direct support to division manager, including for board meeting planning, filing expense reports, divisional scheduling, and marketing coordination support.
- Order and maintain office supplies for the marketing team and provide support through other administrative functions as needed.
We’re Looking for Someone With:
- Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and study in public relations, project management or coordination preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required..
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a program coordination, marketing coordination, executive assistant or administrative role.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, deadlines and detailed administrative or financial processes
- Experience working with financial platforms, reports, cloud-based file management and Office suite required.
- International professional experience a plus
