Make city pay without the traffic!  With 5 locations spread out across the Midwest, Phoenix is the largest pulsed YAG laser welding house in North America!  We use tig and laser cladding to repair, modify and assemble various components, from injection molding dies to Aerospace and Medical devices.  By using the latest technology in additive manufacturing and conventional welding, we can achieve surface enhancements that are impossible for most welding houses.  We are now hiring a skilled tig welder, where you will receive top pay and generous benefits in addition to locking up a stable career with advancement opportunities.

 

Responsibilities:

 

-  Read blueprints and assembly drawings in addition to advance technical specifications.

 

-   Use safety and general shop housekeeping to operate a welding station.

 

-   Fit and assemble machined metal parts/sub-assemblies.

 

-   Use expertise to weld; complexhigh varietylow volume part work.

 

-   Complete all necessary documentation for proper tracking of work.

 

-   Verify part quality.

 

 

Desired Skills:

 

-   Successful completion of accredited welding course or equivalent on the job training and 5-10 years high  level TIG welding experience.

 

-   Good manual dexterity with attention to detail.

 

-   Able to solve problems and offer solutions to management.

 

-   Dependable and prompt.

 

-   Works well independently and with others.

 

  

 

Schedule / Work Environment:

  • 1st shift / Monday thru Friday
