About this Position / Responsibilities
NFF Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the day-to-day execution of a multi-year ERP modernization program. This role will oversee the transition of Human Capital Management (HCM) and Finance from Oracle PeopleSoft to Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications while supporting the continued integration of the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions student environment for the System Office and 23 member colleges.
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for integrated project planning, governance, stakeholder coordination, schedule and budget oversight, risk and issue management, vendor coordination, and executive reporting. The role will help drive business and technical alignment across the modernization effort while ensuring successful delivery through planning, testing, cutover, stabilization, and transition to ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead integrated project planning, scheduling, and execution across business and technical workstreams.
- Establish project foundations, including project charters, baseline plans, governance routines, and status reporting.
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, milestones, issues, risks, assumptions, dependencies, decisions, and change requests.
- Serve as the primary point of coordination among project sponsors, business owners, colleges, technical teams, and vendors.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workstream reviews, steering committee preparation, and executive communications.
- Support readiness, strategy, design, configuration, prototype review, and business sign-off activities.
- Oversee data conversion planning, reconciliation, issue resolution, and certification activities.
- Direct testing readiness across system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Coordinate cutover planning, readiness assessments, contingency planning, and go-live decision support.
- Lead hypercare and stabilization activities and support transition to sustaining operations teams.
- Coordinate technical dependencies involving Oracle Fusion, PeopleSoft, integrations, reporting, analytics, and downstream systems.
- Monitor vendor performance, milestone completion, invoice support, and budget tracking.
- Maintain documentation required for governance, compliance, funding visibility, and audit readiness.
- Drive continuous improvement and ensure project delivery aligns with approved objectives, standards, and implementation best practices.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, business, project management, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
- 5+ years of project management experience, including experience supporting enterprise applications or large-scale IT initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience leading full lifecycle ERP, HCM, Finance, or cloud modernization projects.
- Working knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft, Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, or similar enterprise platforms.
- Experience managing integrated schedules, budgets, RAID logs, milestone reporting, and formal change control processes.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, including business, technical, executive, and vendor teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting testing, data conversion, cutover planning, go-live readiness, and post-implementation stabilization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in higher education, public sector, or multi-entity enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with governance, compliance, procurement, funding, and audit reporting requirements.
- Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Microsoft Teams, Excel, and related project reporting tools.
- PMP or comparable project management certification preferred.
