Description

Food and Beverage Supervisor (18+)

Position Description Seeking an experienced supervisor to join a growing team. With new offerings coming to the boardwalk operation this year, we are looking for a great person to learn and grow with us. Some experience is preferred, but for the right person with a drive to succeed we have the place for you! The Food and Beverage Supervisor will work with the Foods Manager to oversee the day to day of the new stands. The Food and Beverage Supervisor will be responsible for the satisfaction of our guests through exemplary service, efficient production, and quality products.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain safe and clean storage areas and food service locations
  • Assist in the management of, guest service, food and beverage quality, inventory management, systems management, budget, and report generation.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Build and train a team focused on service; assist in team supervision and developing team member performance including scheduling and evaluations.
  • Keep detailed records and inventory of food and other goods
  • Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation, maintain appropriate food costs and portion controls for menu items and special event menus
  • Control costs in all areas including payroll
  • Ensure that workspace and food areas are clean and free of clutter at all times
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Support team and respond to needs during operating hours

Job Requirements

  • Must be dependable and willing to work days, nights, weekends, and some holidays.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work under pressure while multitasking, have strong organizational skills, and be able to pay attention to detail.
  • Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
  • Must be able to communicate accurately and professionally with managers, teammates, and guests in the English language
  • Must have a good sense of balance and be able to bend, kneel, sit, crouch, or crawl frequently
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to fifty pounds and occasionally up to one hundred pounds with help.
