Procurement Specialist

Quality Tank Solutions (QTS) is seeking experienced, full-time Procurement Specialist to join our teams in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will be schedule driven with savvy negotiation skills, be highly organized, a relationship builder, customer service driven, and a team player. This candidate will also have three years related work experience with a purchasing background.

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Create purchase orders
• Cycle counting and inventory management
• Procure and Expedite materials in a timely manner
• Develop, implement, and maintain an inventory strategy that supports our company's supply chain
• Build and manage positive vendor and supplier relationships
• Support Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams

Requirements & Qualifications

• 3+ years of related work experience with a purchasing background
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Excellent computer skills computer skills proficient in various computer software programs (i.e. Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, VLOOKUP etc.)
• Professional demeanor
• Inventory Data Management
• Thrives in high-speed settings & uses strong time-management skills to meet deadlines
• Managed efficient supply chains that reduced delivery times and costs
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work independently
•   Willing to be a team player          

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is a plus but not required.
