Job DetailsJob Location: Ocnwc - Oconomowoc, WI 53066Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: 1st shift (M-F 7a-3:30p)Multiple shifts available: 1st: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Split Shift: Monday - Thursday, 12:30 PM - 11:00 PM (10% Shift Premium)   Ace Precision is an internationally recognized supplier to the Aerospace, Power Generation, Defense and Space industries.  We are proud of our wide range of advanced capabilities and our highly skilled staff who come together to achieve amazing results.  Are you interested in joining a growing team with a culture of excellence, innovation, and quality?  If so, apply today and watch your career take flight!   WHY TRADESPEOPLE CHOOSE US: If you take pride in ensuring every product meets the highest standards, Ace Precision is where you want to work!  We offer: Clean and organized shop floor The right tools and equipment to do the job safely and efficiently Long service employees who provide mentorship and on the job training Predictable hours - voluntary overtime available Respect for your skill, your time, and your safety   WHAT YOU WILL DO: Read and understand part drawings, work instructions, and quality requirements to check part dimensions and tolerances Set up and use inspection gauges for production checks Inspect parts using GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) guidelines Perform incoming (receiving) inspections to ensure materials meet purchase order and specification requirements Operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect part features including alignment, location, geometric tolerances; develop, modify, and validate inspection programs when needed Inspect tooling and fixtures and keep accurate inspection and calibration records Visually inspect parts and materials for surface defects such as cracks, dents, burrs, or poor welds Verify assemblies are complete by comparing parts to drawings, parts lists, or sample models Measure parts using standard inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and indicators Identify, document, and reject non-conforming parts, and work with the Quality Supervisor to resolve quality issues   WHAT EXPERIENCE YOU NEED: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with minimum 3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.   GREAT BENEFITS: Competitive pay  Comprehensive benefits package: Medical, Dental, Vision, Short-Term & Long-Term Disability, and Life Insurance 401(K) Match up to 8% A Work-Life Balance Multiple shift options include day and night shifts with 10% shift premium and compressed work week Paid Vacation & Personal Time, and 9 Paid Holidays Paid Parental Leave Wellness Program Reimbursements Employee Assistance Program Safety Reimbursement (weld helmets, safety glasses, safety shoes, custom molded hearing protection)  Tuition Reimbursement Company meals, events, and parties!
