LINEMAN

Pro-Tek Field Services is seeking experienced Journeyman Linemen to join our electrical team supporting oil & gas operations throughout the Permian Basin. This position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing overhead and underground electrical power systems while working safely in field environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground electrical power lines
• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on electrical distribution systems
• Operate and work from bucket trucks, digger derricks, and other utility equipment
• Climb poles and work at heights when required
• Inspect electrical systems and power lines to identify issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Respond to power outages and service interruptions
• Follow all OSHA and company safety regulations
• Work collaboratively with crews to complete projects safely and efficiently
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles used for line work

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of a recognized lineman apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass physical fitness and climbing requirements
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, safety standards, and OSHA regulations
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with both overhead and underground electrical systems
• Experience operating bucket trucks and digger derricks
• Previous experience in utility, electrical construction, or oil & gas environments
• CDL preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days
• Arc flash training preferred
• Valid CDL 

Work Environment

• Outdoor field work in various weather conditions
• May require travel to job sites throughout the Permian Basin
• Overtime and extended hours may be required during outages or project deadlines
