End User Systems Administrator I

Job Description:

The Endpoint Systems Administrator I ensures that endpoints comply with company standards as they relate to security hardening, usability, and inventory requirements.  The role is the liaison between the End User Engineering and End User Support teams as well as business units as needed and requires strong soft skills.

Essential Responsibilities

Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position.

  • Monitors ticketing queue and escalates tickets as required

  • Support of the endpoint solutions environment

  • Assess emerging industry trends; anticipate and develop strategic solutions

  • Participates in the technical implementation of projects and initiatives

  • Provides Tier I support for all endpoint components

General Responsibilities

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

Experience Requirements

  • 0-3 years of relevant experience required.

License/Certification/Registration Requirements:

  • Certification obtained within one year of employment. Examples: VMware Certified Technical Associate - Data Center Virtualization 2024 [v2] (VCTA-DCV 2024), Comptia A+, Net+, or Cloud+

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:

  • Strong communication skills and the initiative to work with other teams and business units as needed

  • Demonstrates a customer orientation; establishes and maintains customer relationships

  • Good organization skills

  • Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint to create metric reports

  • Knowledge of ITIL framework

  • Security minded

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 licensing
